If you are part of an organization that has more than 10 Users, the task of managing your Autodesk users is certainly more involved than a smaller firm. Thankfully, Autodesk has introduced a new Premium Subscription to help make this process a lot easier.
Autodesk Premium has several key benefits to differentiate it from your typical Autodesk Subscription. Let’s take a look at what this new plan has to offer.
Number of subscriptions
Unlike the Standard plan, Autodesk Premium is designed to help medium- to large-sized businesses manage 50 or more subscriptions to operate more efficiently, enhance security, and save time.
Security
Perhaps one of the most useful aspects of the Premium Subscription is the ability to configure SSO for increased security and ease of use. This is especially handy if you are continually adding and removing users or if you already have single sign-on configured and you just want to have the increased security and ease of use that comes with SSO.
Support
Standard live support is available during your local weekday business hours, however, with the Premium plan, you will get 24/7 live support allowing you to receive help with technical issues even during nights and weekends.
Reporting
One of the other advanced features is access to better reporting information inside of your Autodesk Management Portal. Premium subscribers get more in-depth reporting tools that allow them to dive into how each user is utilizing their Autodesk Products.
In both the standard and premium dashboards, you’ll be able to review usage by product. However, with the Premium plan, you can drill down further since it lets you get detailed stats from each user to determine what products they are using, how often they are using them, and other useful metrics.

Is a Premium plan, right for your organization?
If you’d like more flexibility, increased security, and easier user management for ten or more subscriptions, then maybe it’s time for you to upgrade to a Premium plan. Here are a few questions to help you decide:
- Are you frequently adding new users, but would like to save time by not having to manually create and assign access?
- Would you like 24/7 support and faster response times?
- Are you needing the additional security features of SSO?
- Do you have employees or contractors based globally that you would like to purchase centrally for?
- Is it difficult to optimize subscription licensing because you don’t know which users need product access?
