Massachusetts Water Resource Authority Partners with MicroCAD to Bring Retrofit Design Services In-House

Customer Challenge: MWRA was seeking to expand their knowledge of industry trends and design technology workflows to improve internal efficiency and external partnerships with consultants. They also had an initiative to bring more retrofit designs projects in-house, and they needed support to gain the necessary technical expertise.

Solution: MicroCAD conducted sessions with MWRA managerial level personnel to provide an overview of product capabilities within the AEC Collection as well as hands-on workflow training for Recap, Revit, Navisworks and Civil 3D. MicroCAD shared best practices as it pertains to laser scanning, cross discipline coordination, and Revit vs. AutoCAD Plant 3D for treatment plant modeling. MicroCAD provided custom training for over 50 MWRA employees on the use of Revit, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
