Revit Architectural Expert Drafter
Position is Remote / Hartford, CT
If you are an Expert Revit user with ample CAD and BIM experience, and/or if you have held a BIM manager role within the industry, we have a dream career for you! Move into a more consultative role working as a part of our consulting team. In this position you will be performing Revit Architectural Production work, and teaching AutoCAD and Revit to clients; helping clients with the implementation of CAD standards and developing automated processes for Revit and related Autodesk products; as well as consulting in the integration of CAD technologies among different AEC disciplines and related Autodesk products.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for candidates with Revit/BIM modeling support related backgrounds and a strong technical knowledge of Autodesk Revit/BIM and related software. The candidate will provide consulting, training, technical support, and implementation services using these and other products. In-depth industry and software knowledge is a must!
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the success of the MicroCAD sales team by providing technical presentations and recommending solutions based on Autodesk Software offerings.
- Perform in-depth assessments to investigate, uncover and understand a customer’s business needs.
- Identify and propose options for improvement or resolution of customer issues and relate those solutions directly to the customer’s business goals/issues.
- Develop technical proposals in conjunction with Business Development & Consulting Services for implementation of solutions.
- Deliver effective, professional online product demonstrations to customers.
- Provide Technical Support to help customers through technical challenges.
- Deliver training at one of our Autodesk Training Centers (ATC), online or at a customer’s location.
- Grow and maintain respected, long-term, trusted advisor relationships with customers and members of the MicroCAD team involved with the opportunity.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related industry.
- Professional registration and industry accreditations preferred, but not required.
- Must have demonstrated and current direct experience with process, workflow and use of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Understand the workflow between various members of a design team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Superior presentation skills, business process analysis and listening skills.
- Proficiency in information gathering and technical discovery techniques.
- A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle is required.
